Expat. Roasters has opened its newest outlet in Bandung, bringing its Bali-born coffee culture to one of Indonesia’s most creative cities. Known for its cool climate and lively café scene, this city offers the perfect setting for this next chapter in the brand’s journey.

This 10th outlet also introduces something new: Coffee Studio. This space is designed for people who want to learn more about coffee, join small events, or simply enjoy a more personal experience. It’s a place where farmers, baristas, and guests can meet and share stories. The team behind Expat. Roasters hopes this studio will help build stronger ties between those who grow the beans and those who drink them.

Shae Macnamara, the founder of Expat. Roasters shared that opening in Bandung feels personal. He first visited the city years ago and was inspired by its creative spirit. He spoke about spending time with coffee farmers in nearby regions and how their beans have become part of the brand’s signature blends. Now, he’s excited to bring those flavors to Bandung and hopes the café becomes part of people’s everyday routines.

The café itself has a modern look, with thoughtful design that reflects Bandung’s mix of old and new. It was created by WHAstudio, working together with Sydney-based X plus O Design Studio. The result is a space that feels open and welcoming, with areas for quiet coffee moments and lively gatherings. The Coffee Studio sits at the heart of it all, offering a calm corner for deeper exploration.

Located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, the new store is open daily from morning until evening. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just curious, Expat. Roasters Bandung offers a fresh space to enjoy a cup, learn something new, and feel connected to the people behind the brew.
