R=Iftar has increasingly become an extended evening ritual rather than a brief meal at sunset, and not just for those who celebrates Ramadan. Communal dining, live stations, and unhurried pacing have shaped how restaurants approach Ramadan, with many venues designing experiences that encourage guests to stay, share plates, and ease into the night.

This Ramadan, COPA, located at 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird, introduces Break Fast. Turn It Up., a buffet-style iftar that places bold flavours, live cooking, and atmosphere at the centre of the experience. Rather than presenting a fixed menu, the buffet is designed to evolve throughout the month, encouraging repeat visits with dishes that shift weekly.

The culinary approach brings together three influences on a single table. Mediterranean flavours contribute warmth and generosity, Indonesian dishes anchor the experience in familiarity, while Latin elements add a lively edge that reflects COPA’s identity. The result is a buffet structured around variety and movement, moving from small bites and salads to heartier mains and desserts without a rigid progression.

Main courses focus on generous cuts of beef, ocean-fresh seafood, and seasonal highlights, presented through different menu stories across Ramadan. A live carving station anchors the room, adding a sense of rhythm and interaction without turning the evening into a spectacle. The emphasis remains on abundance and shared dining, with plates designed to be passed and revisited.

The atmosphere is shaped further by nightly live Islamic music performances throughout the holy month. Rather than dominating the room, the music is kept subtle and unhurried, supporting an environment where conversations linger and the pace of the evening slows after the fast is broken.

COPA’s Ramadan buffet is served daily from 6.00pm to 9.30pm, beginning at the start of Ramadan and running through its conclusion, estimated between 18 and 20 February, subject to moon sighting. The experience is priced at IDR 688,000++ per person, with early-bird privileges available for select weeks with advance reservations.

Beyond dining, 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird also introduces an Idul Fitri stay offer, extending the festive period into a longer city break. The package, valid from mid-March to early April, positions accommodation as a complement to the dining programme rather than its focus.

Through Break Fast. Turn It Up., COPA approaches Ramadan as an evening meant to unfold gradually—anchored by food, guided by atmosphere, and shaped around the shared act of breaking fast together.
