COAL is designed to capture warmth, smokiness, and a fiery ambiance infused with a masculine touch inspired by the essence of burning coals. COAL is an extension of Sudestada and serves as a testament to the elemental power of fire. At COAL, fire is not merely a momentary spectacle but a perpetual presence. Coal exists before and after fire. The deep-hued interior, leather seating, and inviting lighting create a snug and intimate atmosphere—a perfect retreat for gentlemen seeking a relaxing and social space.
Vicko Alvonso, with over 13 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, spearheads the bar. Hailing from Malang, East Java, Vicko started his career as a bar floor staff, progressively ascending the professional ranks to become the accomplished bartender he is today. His passion for crafting cocktails and innovating flavors has driven him to contribute his expertise to prominent establishments in Indonesia, including Union Group, Savoi Ultra Lounge, Hakkasan Jakarta, and Stark Tap Room.

One unique feature that will become the highlight of COAL is a raw bar concept that is available from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., where the kitchen will be serving Latin American- inspired seafood dishes that can be paired with cocktails.
Elegantly finished with convenient separate access from the restaurant, COAL welcomes guests daily from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. With a capacity of 30 guests, COAL stands as an entertaining watering hole featuring regular DJ performances every Friday and Saturday starting from 9 p.m. On Friday nights, urban beats and popular hits will energize the atmosphere, while Saturday nights will groove to Boogie Disco, complemented by a playlist of popular hits that will get patrons moving to the rhythm.
