Chef Vincent Nigita from KANVAZ PÂTISSERIE and Chef Maurizio Bombini from MAURI Restaurant proudly introduces their newest collaboration: A weekly summer rendezvous with a European flair where guests can indulge in refreshing cocktails along sophisticated yet savory bites before heading to dinner.
Launching on Friday 8th July 2022, “CITRON by NIGITA & MAURI” will take residency on the inviting roof terrace of KANVAZ Village Resort, Seminyak, every Friday and Saturday from 5 pm onwards to make the most of Seminyak’s sunsets skies along delightful music from a live DJ.
The two chefs’ vision was to unite their respective art of cooking by blending salty and sweet creations. To curate a gourmet aperitivo menu for this ephemeral event, they needed to find Mediterranean produce that could equally be French and Italian while symbolizing summer. During a brainstorming session, they were asked what their favorite fruit to work with was, and they both exclaimed, “Le citron!” which means “lemon” in French. It became the common thread and ultimately the name of the event.
The enticing menu naturally incorporates citrusy flavors inspired by the French and Italian Riviera. Elegantly plated, it features delicious bite-sized dishes with highlights including a Lemon Foie Gras Macaron, Parmesan Tarte Tatin, or the Mini Croque-Wagyu with Porcini mushrooms and sweet delicacies including the much-anticipated lemon dessert, “Le Citron.” To accompany the creative bites, a selection of citrusy cocktails and Rosé wines in partnership with MINUTY will be served at the bar, as well as Gin and Aperol stations
Guests will also enjoy the additional comfort of the open-air atmosphere of the terrace with comfortable private cabanas and delightful sunset sky views. The open-air DJ set will add a summer mood to the fabulous atmosphere from 5 pm to 8 pm.

CITRON Aperitivo Popup Bar will launch on Friday 9th July 2022 and will be open every Friday and Saturday throughout July and August from 5 PM onwards.
