Contemporary Italian fine-dining restaurant, Buona Terra opens the year on a high, ranking strong at 10th place for the second year in the 50 Top Italy 2024 World List. The highly anticipated 50 Top Italy World List recognises the best Italian restaurants globally, celebrating the worldwide success of Italian cuisine and its gastronomic culture.
Since its founding in 2012, Buona Terra – holding firm to its meaning ‘Good Earth’ in Italian – has brought contemporary Italian gastronomy to the table at its most authentic and refined, showcasing impeccable ingredients from Italy and around the world. At the helm is Italian Chef Denis Lucchi, 11-year resident, who transforms the finest ingredients into contemporary gastronomic creations. Buona Terra’s cuisine reflects Chef Denis’ personal vision and a deep connection to his roots. Grounded in his memories and fuelled by innovation, his creations are a harmonious blend of the seasons and modernity.
Brilliant reinvention of tradition and a resolute pursuit of excellence have brought Buona Terra into the coveted Michelin fold in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Now, securing 10th place in the 50 Top Italy World List is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to pushing culinary boundaries and delivering an experience that is both exquisite and unforgettable.

The accolade marks another milestone in Buona Terra’s journey as it continues to strive for greater heights, expanding the brand and sharing its warm hospitality with an upcoming casual concept slated for opening in the second quarter of 2024. This year and last year, Buona Terra has occupied the 10th position. In 2022, the restaurant ranked the 35th position. In 2021, the restaurant ranked the 31st position.
