BeanStar, originally from China and now well established in countries like Italy and Japan, has opened its second location in Indonesia at Menara Sentraya in South Jakarta. The brand made its Indonesian debut earlier at Menara BPJamsostek, and its local presence is managed through an official licensing agreement with PT BeanStar Group Indonesia.

With more than 350 outlets worldwide, BeanStar is known for its modern store design and a wide menu of innovative coffee drinks. During the recent grand opening event in Jakarta, the brand’s founder and CEO, Billy Wu, introduced a special offering: the Single Origin Ethiopia Geisha. This coffee variety is recognized globally for its floral, fruity, and complex flavor profile, and is considered one of the most sought-after beans in the specialty coffee world. The launch event featured several of BeanStar’s signature drinks, such as the Golden Latte, Okinawa Caramel Latte, Perilla Lemon Cold Brew, and a fresh strawberry beverage. Each item showcases the brand’s approach to high-quality ingredients and creative combinations.

BeanStar’s growing presence in Indonesia is part of its broader global expansion. With Indonesia being one of the largest coffee-producing countries and a market where appreciation for unique coffee profiles continues to grow, the brand sees strong potential for development. The opening of its second store is a step toward offering more drink options and building a wider experience for local coffee lovers. BeanStar aims to be part of Indonesia’s dynamic urban lifestyle, connecting global coffee culture with the local community.
