Bacha Coffee presents a seasonal menu that celebrates Indonesia’s culinary heritage in honor of the nation’s 81st Independence Day, available from August 8 to September 20, 2026. Drawing on ingredients such as kecombrang, Javanese black spices, cassava leaves, and black sticky rice, the dishes reinterpret familiar flavors through Bacha Coffee’s own style, blending Indonesian traditions with Moroccan influences. Alongside the food, more than 200 specialty Arabica coffees sourced from 35 countries are offered, each cup selected to complement the dining experience and extend the flavors on the table.
At Bacha Plaza Senayan, three main courses form the centerpiece of the promotion. Norwegian Salmon & Spiced Coconut Stew pairs grilled salmon with spiced eggplant, chayote, and haricot vert, served over rice with a coconut broth. East Javanese Spiced Duck highlights a fried duck leg seasoned with Javanese spices, accompanied by kecombrang rice, urap roll, and crisp rice crackers. Australian Wagyu Beef Striploin Smoor brings marinated wagyu striploin together with spiced potato purée, sautéed cassava leaves, shiitake mushrooms, and a rich semur sauce. The dessert, Avocado Entremet, layers avocado mousse with chocolate sablé, light dacquoise, and white chocolate ganache, finished with caramelized cacao nibs for texture.
Two croissant creations are part of the promotion at both Bacha Plaza Senayan and Bacha Plaza Indonesia. Aromatic Spices & Chicken Croissant combines sous vide chicken with a creamy tongseng‑inspired sauce and toasted coconut, while Black Sticky Rice Croissant folds sweet black sticky rice pudding into pastry with white chocolate ganache and coconut shavings, offering a new take on a familiar Indonesian dessert.
