Jakarta, 13 May 2026 – Archipelago Hotels unveil Archipelago Korean Street Food Festival – 60 Seconds to Seoul” in Yogyakarta on May 12, 2026. Part of the Archipelago Global Flavours Series, a campaign to show street food flavours from different countries, with Korea being the feature country right now. The events spans from multiple hotels, through the main festival, to food deliveries, room service, dine in, etc. The main festival also includes other events such as K-pop dance performances, cooking challenges, and Noraebang with Voks Radio.

The festival being inspired by the real, practical, and live cooking of Seoul street food stalls, has every dish prepared and cooked in a short time in front of visitors as the main attraction. Other popular Korean dishes like tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken, K-BBQ, etc are available, in addition visitors can try fusion menus like Korean burgers, mozzarella corndogs, and kimchi fried rice
Eight plus live cooking stalls will be present in the festival, each cooking different specialty menuns from street snacks like odeng, and dakkochi to main dishes like galbitang, and jjampong.
Complementing the culinary experience, the festival also offers korean beverages such as :
- Omija Cooler, a combination of omija syrup, strawberry, lime, and tonic water
- Seoul Milky Mango, a blend of mango syrup, probiotic mango milk, and soda
- Fruity Herbs Korean, a mix of omija syrup, ginger syrup, orange juice, infused herbs, and citrus
- Sparkling Yuzu Honey, a refreshing drink with a distinctive Korean citrus touch
Desserts like mango sago pudding, tiramisu, raspberry mousse, premium pastries and tarts are available, alongside local favorites like es teler and es cendol nangka.
Royal Malioboro Hosts the Festival, Engaging a Network of Hotels in Yogyakarta and Central Java
The event is held at Royal Malioboro. Yogyakarta was selected as the location due to its strong creative ecosystem, active community, and high interest in culture and lifestyle-based events.
