Amanda Wan will be returning to Tastings group as Beverage Director effective as of 11th may. The industry veteran of Asia’s 50 best bars who has had a hand in shaping many award winning bar programs across Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Hong Kong will return to Tastings group as Beverage Director.

Amanda Wan will manage and oversee the beverage program development, mentorship, branding execution, and guest experience across the Tastings group’s roster of bars and establishments including Quinary cocktail bar, The Opposites cocktail bar, Draft Land HK a cocktail-on-tap concept bar, and Drinks By Design the group’s 3,000-square-foot beverage factory.
“Returning to Tastings Group is a homecoming to where I first learnt how great bars are built, not just on recipes, but on people, respect, and shared moments,” said Amanda Wan. “I look forward to working alongside Charlene, Antonio, and the entire team to craft beverage experiences that surprise, comfort, and connect.
Previous Journey
Previously Amanda Wan served tastings group as Bar Manager and Beverage Development manager from 2014 to 2019 where she helped many venues and establishments earn awards and accolades. She now returns to Hong Kong with over a decade of international leadership after recently being head bartender at Three X Co. in Kuala Lumpur.
Wan was a former barista, and the first woman to represent her country in DIAGEO World Class Global Finals (Athens, 2010). Other achievements include Top 3 Finalist at Bacardi Legacy Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan 2016, and recognition as one of Hong Kong’s Top 25 Bartenders by Drinks World Asia in 2014 & 2015.
