Bacha Coffee is marking the Ramadan season with a new dining concept titled “Maritime Route – A Ramadan Voyage,” a festive programme that draws inspiration from the historic coffee and spice trade routes linking Morocco and the Indonesian archipelago. The seasonal offering combines a curated Ramadan menu with celebratory hampers, reflecting the cultural exchange that shaped coffee traditions across regions.

Available until 29 March 2026, the programme invites guests to break their fast with a menu designed around Bacha Coffee’s signature coffee room experience. Each meal is paired with selections from the brand’s extensive repertoire of more than 200 varieties of 100% Arabica specialty coffees, ranging from single-origin to fine blended and flavoured coffees.

A Ramadan Menu Inspired by Regional Flavours

The Ramadan menu unfolds through a multi-course structure that highlights flavours from across the archipelago while maintaining the coffee house’s international culinary perspective.

Each meal begins with Chicken & Oat Chorba, a comforting soup made with shredded chicken and corn simmered in a spiced tomato broth and thickened with oats. The dish reflects a warm and nourishing start to the evening meal.

For the main course, guests can choose from several dishes inspired by regional ingredients and cooking traditions. The Arsik Seabass offers a refined interpretation of a Sumatran classic, featuring pan-seared freshwater seabass served with torched ginger fragrant rice, roasted tomato and young papaya, accented with ginger and lemongrass aromatics.

Another option, Balinese Spiced Chicken, brings flavours from Bali through slow-cooked marinated chicken accompanied by kaffir lime fragrant rice, coconut-toasted beans and crispy tapioca crackers, finished with a rich Nusantara-inspired sauce.

Those seeking a heartier dish can opt for the Australian Wagyu Striploin, served with a cassava and shiitake mushroom medley, turmeric-infused potato purée and a sweet mango and smoor sauce that balances savoury depth with subtle sweetness.

Desserts Blending Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian Influences

The meal concludes with a choice of two desserts that reflect the broader cultural influences behind the menu.

The Chocolate & Pistachio Kunafa reinterprets the Middle Eastern classic with crisp kataifi pastry layered around chocolate mousse and pistachio praline, delivering both crunch and richness.

Alternatively, the Coconut & Gula Melaka Croissant revisits one of Bacha Coffee’s signature pastries with a seasonal twist. The flaky croissant is infused with coconut cream and palm sugar, creating a combination that merges French pastry technique with Southeast Asian flavours.

Ramadan Hampers for Festive Gifting

Alongside the dining programme, Bacha Coffee is also introducing a series of Ramadan hampers designed as festive gifts for the season.

The Illumination Hamper includes two selections of 100% Arabica coffee, cookies, raw coffee sugar crystals and pieces from the Bacha Heritage Collection crafted in bone china, presented in the brand’s signature packaging.

Another option, the Reflections Hamper, features four specialty coffees tailored to different brewing styles, together with a coffee cup and saucer from the Heritage Collection, a horn coffee scoop, paper coffee filters and a range of artisanal treats.
