In Jakarta, Ramadan evenings are closely tied to the ritual of breaking fast together. Iftar often becomes a social pause after a long day, where families and friends gather around generous, shareable dishes that encourage conversation and connection. Restaurants across the city typically respond to this moment with communal formats designed for passing plates rather than individual portions.

This Ramadan, Sudestada Jakarta presents two dining formats that draw on its Argentine parrilla roots: the Ramadan Platter and Asado Breakfasting – All You Can Eat. Both experiences place grilled meats and shared dining at the centre of the table, aligning with the season’s emphasis on togetherness and generosity.

The Ramadan Platter is positioned as a family-style iftar option available throughout the month. Served as a complete set for sharing, the platter is offered in two compositions. Ramadan Platter A includes ribeye, mollejas (sweetbreads), boneless chicken leg, lamb merguez, and beef skewers, priced at IDR 1,150,000Ramadan Platter B, priced at IDR 1,600,000, expands the selection with additional cuts such as bife de vacío and roasted half chicken. Both versions are designed to be placed at the centre of the table, encouraging communal dining rather than plated courses.

For guests seeking a more expansive format, Sudestada introduces Asado Breakfasting – All You Can Eat, available from 10 to 19 March 2026. Priced at IDR 450,000 per person with a minimum of two guests, the iftar experience offers a rotating selection of grilled meats and sides served continuously throughout the evening. The menu includes picaña, smoked brisket, grilled matambre, beef sausage with cheese, grilled chicken, taco-style beef and chicken, salads, garlic fried rice, grilled vegetables, and caramelised grilled pineapple for dessert. Complimentary takjil is included before the main meal.

According to Victor Taborda, the Ramadan menus are built around simplicity and technique, with meats sourced carefully and cooked over the parrilla using traditional Argentine methods. The aim, he notes, is to create an iftar experience that feels unhurried and generous, where food supports the act of reconnecting after a day of reflection.

Through these two Ramadan dining formats, Sudestada Jakarta adapts its signature grill-focused identity to the rhythm of the holy month, offering iftar options that prioritise shared plates, fire-grilled flavours, and the social nature of breaking fast together.
