Japan’s largest international food trade platform returns this winter as JFEX Winter 2025 and “Japan’s Food” Export Fair, hosted by RX Japan, open their doors from 3 to 5 December 2025 at Makuhari Messe. The co-located exhibitions aim to strengthen Japan’s position in the global food and beverage (F&B) market by connecting international buyers with Japanese and global suppliers across all sectors of the industry.

Now in its 11th edition, “Japan’s Food” Export Fair continues to serve as a key hub for export-ready Japanese products, offering buyers access to exclusive and hard-to-find food and beverage items that represent the country’s rich culinary heritage. Running concurrently, JFEX Winter 2025 will feature international exhibitors and segmented sub-shows designed to support sourcing, logistics, and distribution across borders.

A Growing Platform for Global Trade

Together, the two exhibitions are expected to host 500 exhibitors and attract 15,000 professional visitors from over 20 countries and regions, providing a one-stop venue for food importers, distributors, retailers, and hospitality professionals. The event also includes export seminars focusing on trade regulations, customs procedures, and market strategies for Japanese products.

Registered visitors will gain access to an appointment-based business matchmaking system, enabling them to schedule meetings, review exhibitor portfolios, and pre-arrange sourcing discussions prior to the event.

Segmented Trade Zones for Efficient Sourcing

JFEX Winter 2025 features five specialized zones catering to different segments of the food industry:

  • JFEX FOOD – showcasing packaged and processed products;

  • JFEX FRESH – focusing on fresh produce, seafood, and meats;

  • JFEX PREMIUM – highlighting high-end gourmet selections;

  • JFEX WINE & SPIRITS – dedicated to alcoholic beverages;

  • JFEX INBOUND – offering tourism and hospitality-related solutions.

Meanwhile, “Japan’s Food” Export Fair will spotlight local producers and exporters offering authentic Japanese ingredients and specialties—from wagyu beef, premium seafood, and condiments to traditional sweets, sake, and ready-to-eat innovations—positioning Japan as a key culinary export destination.

Exclusive Opportunities for Buyers

To facilitate trade, the Hosted Buyers Program will connect global buyers with top-tier Japanese food producers. Participants will receive exclusive privileges such as visa support, hotel accommodation, and VIP access, providing a streamlined experience to secure sourcing partnerships.

The event also runs alongside Food LogiX, RX Japan’s logistics-focused exhibition, allowing visitors to explore the entire supply chain—from product sourcing and storage to export and delivery—under one roof.

Strengthening Japan’s Role in Global F&B Trade

Following the success of the summer edition, which gathered nearly 20,000 visitors from 55 countries, RX Japan expects continued momentum at this year’s winter show. “These exhibitions play a crucial role in bridging Japan’s F&B producers with the international market,” said a representative from RX Japan. “We are seeing strong demand for Japanese products and growing collaboration between suppliers and buyers across Asia and beyond.”
