Zuma Hong Kong is set to close out 2025 with a one-night transformation of its Central venue, turning the restaurant and lounge into a jazz-inflected countdown celebration on 31 December 2025. The annual event, known for blending contemporary Japanese dining with nightlife culture, will take on a new identity this year through live jazz, curated décor, and extended culinary offerings
A Jazz-Club Atmosphere for One Night
Beginning at 10 p.m., the space will adopt the ambiance of an intimate jazz club, complete with blue-and-silver tinsel installations, a live band featuring vocals, saxophone, and percussion, and a program that transitions into sets by Zuma’s resident DJ. The venue will also host dynamic dance performances throughout the night as it leads into the midnight countdown
Guests attending the countdown celebration will have access to exclusive food stations on the 5/F terrace, available from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., serving Spicy Tuna Tempura Sushi, Yellowtail, and Takoyaki. Free-flowing Ruinart champagne, beer, soft drinks, and two cocktails are included until 1 a.m. General admission is priced at HKD 1,080, with limited early-bird tickets at HKD 880
Dining Options Leading Into the Celebration
For those seeking a full-evening experience, Zuma’s Yashoku Night Brunch—a signature late-night brunch concept—will operate in a special New Year’s Eve format. Starting at 7:30 p.m., the 2.5-hour service will include Japanese cold dishes, sushi, sashimi, tempura, and two main courses, accompanied by free-flow Ruinart champagne, sake, beer, and soft drinks. The package automatically includes entry to the countdown party and is priced at HKD 1,980 per person
In the 5/F dining room, Zuma will also offer a New Year’s Eve tasting menu for HKD 1,680 per person. The multi-course dinner features sushi and sashimi, Langoustine Kataifi Tempura with truffle soy butter, Crispy-scale Japanese Amadai with uni butter soy, Japanese A4 Wagyu sirloin, and a festive dessert platter. Guests dining from 8 p.m. onward may add party access for HKD 350
A Longstanding Global Brand
Founded in 2002, Zuma has grown from its London flagship to multiple international locations, including Hong Kong, Dubai, Istanbul, Miami, New York, and Rome. The brand’s Hong Kong outlet remains one of the city’s defining venues for contemporary Japanese dining paired with nightlife experiences, a format reflected in its annual New Year’s Eve concepts
