World of Coffee Asia comes to Indonesia for the first time, taking place at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) from May 15–17, 2025. This event gathers more than 15,000 coffee professionals, industry leaders, and enthusiasts from around the world. Indonesia’s role as both a major coffee producer and a growing consumer market makes it a fitting host for this edition of the global event. The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), along with Exporum and the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia, organizes the exhibition with a focus on fostering connections and advancing innovation in the coffee industry.
World of Coffee Jakarta is SCA’s first-ever trade show held in a coffee-producing country. Exhibitors and sponsors showcase products and innovations to a global audience, including buyers, roasters, and decision-makers. The event also introduces Producer Village, a platform that brings together coffee farmers from Indonesia’s diverse coffee-growing regions. It allows industry professionals, from roasters and baristas to retailers and coffee enthusiasts, to meet the people behind their coffee and learn about cultivation practices. Another highlight is Roaster Village, a space where small and growing roasting companies introduce their specialty coffee products and build relationships with potential customers and partners. The area promotes collaboration, innovation, and business opportunities.
World of Coffee Jakarta features more than 400 brands and offers various activities, competitions, and educational programs. One of the most anticipated events is The World Brewers Cup, where 50 of the world’s best brewers compete in the biggest WBrC to date. Cupping Rooms provide a chance to taste new coffee harvests and varieties, while the Lecture Series offers industry talks and knowledge-sharing sessions. Other activations include the SCA Lounge, Brew Bars, and SCAI x PMO Kopi and Kakao Nusantara, all contributing to a lively and engaging event for the coffee industry.
