Ramadan dining in Jakarta continues to evolve beyond traditional buffet formats, with hotels increasingly introducing themed collaborations that highlight specific culinary traditions. This year, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place centres its Ramadan programme on Egyptian cuisine through A Night in Cairo, alongside a five-tier gifting collection titled Tales of Celestial Nights.
Egyptian Guest Chefs at PA.SO.LA
From 19 February to 18 March 2026, PA.SO.LA Restaurant will host two guest chefs from The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo, presenting an iftar concept inspired by Cairo’s culinary traditions.
Leading the collaboration is Chef Walid Anwar Diab, Senior Chef de Cuisine at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo, who brings over three decades of experience representing Egyptian gastronomy internationally. He is joined by Chef Mohsen Mohamed Ramadan Ahmed Hassan, whose background spans Egyptian, Lebanese, and Syrian cuisines.
The iftar, available daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, is priced from IDR 888,000++ per person. The programme is positioned as a journey through Egyptian flavours, combining spice-forward preparations and traditional dishes associated with communal dining.
An Eid Brunch Feast will follow on 19 and 20 March 2026, served from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, also starting from IDR 888,000++ per person, marking the conclusion of Ramadan with an expanded celebratory spread.
Ramadan Hampers Collection 2026
Complementing the dining programme, the hotel introduces a five-tier Ramadan hamper collection titled Tales of Celestial Nights, featuring packaging inspired by Middle Eastern motifs in gold-toned designs. The hampers range from compact cookie assortments to larger gift sets that include beverages and lifestyle items.
