The Coach Restaurant has introduced a new way to enjoy iftar this Ramadan, drawing inspiration from New York City’s street food culture. The menu, called the NYC Cart-Style Iftar, takes familiar flavors from Manhattan’s food carts and reshapes them into a communal dining experience meant for sharing at the table.

At the center of the spread is Charcoal Chicken with Rice Pilaf. The chicken is smoky and tender, while the rice is cooked with spices that give it warmth and fragrance. Alongside it comes a dish that blends Indonesian tradition with an American format: the Beef Rendang Street Pie. Slow-braised rendang is tucked into a flaky pastry shell, creating a street-style version of one of Indonesia’s most beloved dishes.

Freshness is added through a Chop-House Kale Tabbouleh, finely chopped and mixed to bring brightness to the meal. For something more indulgent, there are Everything-Spiced Fries; fries coated in Coach’s signature everything spice blend. Two sauces accompany the platter — The “Coach White” Sauce & The “Coach Red” Sauce — both designed to echo the classic condiments found at street carts across the city.

The meal closes with a sweet note: Sticky Date Toffee Pudding. The dessert is a soft sponge made with dates, soaked in rich toffee sauce, and finished with a scoop of ice cream. It offers a comforting end to the feast, balancing the bold flavors of the savory dishes.

Through this menu, The Coach Restaurant combines the energy of New York’s street food with touches of local tradition, creating a dining experience that feels both global and familiar. It is designed for groups to gather, share, and enjoy together during the season of Ramadan.
