Sudestada will come to Bali next month with a pop-up event at the prominent Ubud Food Festival 2023. Ubud Food Festival is a celebrated culinary festival that highlights the variety of Indonesian cuisine and serves as a platform to promote rising culinary history, fresh ideas, and innovation.

Sudestada’s pop-up dining event at Ubud Food Festival 2023 will happen on Sunday, 2 July 2023, from 6.30-8.00 p.m. at Uma Cucina Restaurant at COMO Uma Ubud. Executive chef and owner Victor Taborda brings a taste of his homeland to Ubud. The event is named Hola! Argentina! – and will allow Chef Victor to showcase ‘asado’ – not just the cooking technique but the social experience. Tagging along with Chef Victor is Sudestada’s pastry chef Claudia Urbaneja, famously known for her sweet dish creations, such as Alfajores and Dulce de Leche. The one-night-only dining event is available at IDR750,000++ per person.

Aside from the dining event, Chef Victor and Chef Claudia will also conduct a Masterclass at the Ubud Food Festival 2023. The masterclass will be held on Saturday, 1 July 2023 from 12 p.m. to 1.30 p.m at Indus Restaurant, Ubud, Bali.

Chef Victor’s Meat Class

Back by popular demand, Chef Victor will again impart his meat cooking knowledge through a Private Meat Cooking event at Sudestada’s three private rooms. With this program, participants can learn the best way to cook steak or master to cook Argentinian delicacies. This program will be held on 14-15 June 2023 with IDR750,000++ per person for a minimum reservation of five people. Guests entering the meat class can also enjoy a shared set menu prepared by the chefs afterward. The menu includes delicious appetizers, five kinds of meat for the main course, and a mouthwatering dessert to close the session.
