Padma Resort Legian has unveiled the new indoor extension of SKAI Bar & Grill, expanding its renowned beachfront dining destination into an intimate garden setting. The addition offers a 34-seat indoor grill lounge that carries forward SKAI’s signature open-flame dining experience while providing a fresh perspective on Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
Located just steps from the shoreline, the new space seamlessly connects the restaurant’s coastal ambience with a lush, enclosed sanctuary. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite natural light, complemented by greenery and sculpted metal screens that create a warm, dappled glow during golden hour. Handwoven furniture in earthy tones mirrors the beach’s natural palette, blending effortlessly with the resort’s tropical surroundings.
The menu continues to showcase SKAI’s Levantine-inspired flavors, with tender cuts marinated in za’atar, smoked paprika, and citrus glazes. Guests can enjoy the same open-grill performance that has defined the restaurant’s identity, now within a more intimate setting. At the heart of the new extension lies a live kitchen pavilion, where chefs prepare premium selections such as Angus Tenderloin, Grass-Fed MB3+, and Pork Chop Pata Negra Ibérico, all grilled over glowing embers and artisan charcoal.
A dry-aging chamber is prominently displayed, allowing guests to witness the preparation process, while a curated selection of salts—from wood-smoked sea salt to herb-infused and citrus blends—invites diners to personalize their dishes. Each meal is complemented by SKAI’s signature house-made sourdough, known across Legian for its crisp crust and chewy interior.
