Naaga recently introduced their newest cocktail collection, Every Sip Tells a Story, a series of signature drinks designed to showcase Indonesia’s cultural depth through taste and storytelling. This collection invites you to experience the archipelago in an entirely fresh way—through ingredients, narratives, and creative presentations that go beyond the ordinary cocktail experience.
Each drink in the lineup reflected a specific theme, grouped into four storytelling pillars. Indonesian Wonders captured the country’s natural splendor—mountains, rainforests, and coastlines—while Roots & Rituals paid tribute to age-old customs, community practices, and indigenous wisdom. Indonesian Company drew from the nation’s historical symbols and political identity, and Untold Stories explored overlooked tales, fading traditions, and lesser-known places across the islands. Among the most talked-about creations were Isle of Dragons, Jayawijaya, Kretek Agus Salim, and Golden Jamu Jago, with each cocktail name selected to evoke an image, a memory, or a meaningful cultural moment.
Naaga’s bartenders worked with an eclectic mix of local ingredients including jagung bose, buah merah, jamu, kretek tobacco essence, soda Badak, and rich Gayo coffee. These components, familiar to many Indonesians in traditional settings, were elevated through modern mixology techniques that added depth, texture, and an element of surprise. The drinks felt rooted in heritage, yet offered something distinctly new, both in taste and in concept.
During the launch event, guests were invited into a curated space that celebrated the collection’s philosophy. Bartender showcases gave insight into the creation process, while immersive installations, ambient lighting, and thematic decor turned each corner into a storytelling station. Sipping each cocktail became an interactive experience—a journey through Indonesia’s flavors, layered with meaning and artistry.
