As the one MICHELIN-starred Duddell’s in Central Hong Kong undergoes a month-long renovation, the renowned Cantonese restaurant continues its commitment to heritage with the launch of its 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival collection. The limited-time offerings include signature lava custard mooncakes, exclusive gift boxes, a premium festive hamper, and a new collaboration with sparkling tea house Saicho.
Signature Lava Custard Mooncakes Return
Duddell’s iconic Signature Gift Box features six of its beloved lava custard mooncakes, celebrated for their delicate golden crusts and molten salted egg yolk centres. The gift box is presented in the brand’s signature packaging and priced at HK$468. An early bird discount is available until 31 August, with prices starting at HK$438 for 1–99 boxes and HK$408 for orders of 100 boxes or more.
For a more playful and decorative take on the season, the Limited Edition LED Lantern Gift Box includes eight lava custard mooncakes housed in a reusable lantern-style case that lights up. Combining elegance and sustainability, the box is priced at HK$768, or HK$728 for orders of 20 boxes or more during the early bird period.
Exclusive Pairing with Saicho Osmanthus Sparkling Tea
This year also introduces the Duddell’s x Saicho Gift Box, a collaboration with the sparkling tea brand Saicho. The set pairs six lava custard mooncakes with two 200ml bottles of Osmanthus Sparkling Tea, a cold-brewed tea made with autumn-harvested Tie Guan Yin oolong and osmanthus blossoms. The beverage reveals refined notes of apricot, mountain cucumber, and custard apple—designed to complement the richness of the mooncakes. The box is priced at HK$528, or HK$498 during the early bird period.
In addition to the gift set, the Osmanthus Sparkling Tea will be featured in a special pairing menu at Duddell’s once the restaurant reopens, available from 1 September to 31 October 2025.
