Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, has marked its 10th anniversary with a year-long programme that places gastronomy at the forefront, complemented by cultural and wellness experiences rooted in the traditions of Bali. Running from July 2025 to July 2026, the anniversary celebrations invite guests to explore local flavors and culinary rituals alongside the resort’s signature hospitality.
The commemorative “A Decade of Excellence” package, available until 31 May 2026, highlights Mandapa’s culinary identity. Guests can enjoy a 10-course dining experience at Kubu, the resort’s zero-waste fine dining restaurant, where ingredients are used in their entirety from root to leaf. Private dining settings are also available by the Ayung River, amid rice fields, or at the edge of a cliff. Evenings are enriched with crafted cocktails at Ambar Ubud Bar, known for infusing Balinese herbs and spices into contemporary creations.
From September to December 2025, Kubu will introduce a special “food as medicine” menu, celebrating seasonal ingredients sourced within 10 kilometers of the resort. Highlights include Payangan beans, presented in five varieties and paired with kelp Garum fermented for over a year, alongside 48-hour slow-roasted Wagyu beef and fruit harvested from the volcanic soils of Tabanan. The concept reflects Mandapa’s focus on sustainability and storytelling through food.
In early 2026, Ambar Ubud Bar will spotlight its Lontar Taru Pramana cocktail series, inspired by medicinal plants from Ubud. Three drinks — The Royal Entrance (pandan, pomelo, rosella, and gin), the Mandapa Spritz (arak, strawberries, and sparkling wine), and Pomelo Soda (pomelo, galangal, lemongrass, and gin) — illustrate the marriage of Balinese heritage and contemporary mixology.
Closing the programme from May to July 2026, the Mandapa Royal Brunch will offer a village-style Indonesian feast on Sundays. Guests can enjoy an array of authentic dishes such as Lawar Klungah (mixed vegetables, coconut, and octopus), Bebek Goreng, and a live grill station featuring an assortment of sate and fresh seafood.
Beyond its culinary focus, the anniversary also includes wellness and cultural highlights. Mandapa Spa will unveil the Celestial Massage — a Mepijet treatment performed under the stars with live Gamelan music — available from September to December 2025. Guests staying on the anniversary package may also join cultural journeys to Tirtha Empul and Gunung Kawi, paired with yoga sessions and traditional healing practices.
The celebrations officially began on 28 August 2025, when Mandapa hosted an exclusive anniversary evening featuring a blessing ceremony, Balinese storytelling performances, fireworks, and the launch of a commemorative coffee table book capturing a decade of memories.
