The spotlight of Asia’s vibrant cocktail scene will shine brightly on Macau as the 10th edition of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, prepares to unveil its prestigious list at the luxurious Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. This landmark event, marking Macau’s inaugural hosting of the awards ceremony, promises to be an unforgettable celebration of mixological artistry and innovation.

The annual awards, a highly anticipated event in the industry, will bring together the most influential figures in Asian bar culture. The coveted list, compiled from the votes of the esteemed Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy—a panel of over 300 anonymous industry experts, including bartenders, bar owners, and drinks connoisseurs—will reveal the continent’s top-performing bars.

The partnership with Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, renowned for their exceptional hospitality and culinary offerings, sets the stage for a world-class celebration. Emma Sleight, Head of Content for Asia’s 50 Best Bars, emphasized the synergy, stating, “Our partnership with Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau… provide an excellent backdrop for celebrating the remarkable achievements of this year’s winners.”

Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, expressed the city’s enthusiasm, highlighting the event’s significance in showcasing Macau’s culinary prowess. “This prestigious event will bring together Asia’s finest bartenders and mixologists in Macau,” she said, reinforcing Macau’s status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

The evening’s program will feature the Bartenders’ Feast, highlighting Macau’s exceptional food and beverage scene, and the “Meet the Bartenders” media roundtable, fostering dialogue and collaboration. The main ceremony, a glamorous affair, will culminate in the announcement of the highly anticipated “Best Bar in Asia” award, sponsored by Perrier, and the full list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

Special Awards and the 51-100 List:

Beyond the core rankings, the ceremony will also recognize outstanding achievements through a series of special awards:

  • Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award: Celebrating bars that have provided exceptional service, as voted by the Academy.
  • Altos Bartenders’ Bartender: Honoring a peer who has significantly advanced the art of bartending, as chosen by the bartenders on the 2025 list.

Prior to the main event, the 51-100 list will be unveiled, extending the recognition to a wider range of exceptional bars and showcasing the diversity of Asia’s bar scene.

Voting Structure:

The integrity of the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list is ensured through a rigorous voting process. The Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy, composed of over 300 anonymous industry experts based across Asia, casts their votes. The voting process, mirroring that of The World’s 50 Best Bars, is independently adjudicated by Deloitte, guaranteeing transparency and authenticity.

As Macau prepares to welcome the best of Asia’s bar industry, the city is set to deliver an unforgettable celebration of mixology, innovation, and excellence.
