Lobster Bar & Grill is collaborating with some of Hong Kong’s top restaurants for a special Sunday Roast series, bringing fresh perspectives to this classic tradition. From June to December, guest chefs will present a unique lineup of starters, roast dishes, and desserts, infusing their culinary expertise into the beloved Sunday meal.
The series begins with Chef Agustin Balbi of Ando, whose fusion of Spanish and Japanese influences results in dishes that blend tradition with innovation. His menu features cured hamachi and spot prawns with passion fruit tiradito, Argentinian beef with empanadas and chimichurri, and a dessert of coconut, caramelized banana, and dulce de leche flan. Chef Marcello Scognamiglio of Trattoria Felino showcases the warmth of southern Italian cuisine, with a menu inspired by the flavors of Naples and modern interpretations of traditional dishes. His culinary approach highlights comforting shared plates and rich Mediterranean ingredients.
Chef Antimo Maria Merone of Estro brings a refined take on Neapolitan cuisine, crafting dishes that reflect his heritage while incorporating contemporary techniques. His tasting menus draw inspiration from his childhood and regional traditions, transforming familiar flavors into elegant creations. Chef Manav Tuli of Leela presents a fresh take on Indian cuisine, combining regional influences with creative plating. His menu embraces street food classics and rich curries, blending authenticity with modern flair. Chef Simon Rogan of Roganic delivers farm-to-table dining with a focus on sustainability and local ingredients. His approach ensures that each dish is thoughtfully prepared, celebrating seasonal produce in every bite.
Chef Aven Lau from Épure showcases contemporary French cuisine, combining refined techniques with carefully sourced ingredients. His dishes emphasize balance, quality, and artistry, complemented by an extensive wine selection. Chef Shane Osborn of Arcane brings modern European flavors, crafting seasonal menus with high-quality ingredients from Japan, France, and the UK. His innovative approach highlights subtle flavors and exceptional execution. Finally, Chef Loic Portalier of Louise reimagines French comfort food with creative twists.
