Towering 57 floors above Marina Bay Sands, LAVO Singapore has unveiled its first major transformation since opening in 2018. Now reintroduced as LAVO Coastal Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, the refreshed venue blends coastal Italian elegance with panoramic rooftop views, positioning itself as a vibrant social and dining destination in the city.
A Mediterranean Refresh
Inspired by the spirit of the Amalfi Coast, the restaurant now features warm Mediterranean tones, handcrafted tiles, and golden accents that complement its expansive wraparound terrace. Designed for golden-hour gatherings, sunset cocktails, and late-night celebrations, the refreshed space continues LAVO’s legacy of energy, glamour, and skyline spectacle.
Over the years, LAVO has welcomed global stars such as Mariah Carey, The Weeknd, Bella Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, Steve Aoki, and David Beckham. Exclusive performances, including a live set by American hip-hop legend Jermaine Dupri, have cemented its reputation as one of Singapore’s most high-profile rooftop destinations.
The reopening on 13 September was hosted by Singapore-born American actor Ross Butler, who launched the celebration with a champagne tower pour. The evening featured a red-carpet entrance, Mediterranean-themed décor, and a lively set by celebrity DJ Kim Lee, creating a party atmosphere that marked LAVO’s new chapter.
A Culinary Ode to Coastal Italy
The refreshed menu, led by Tao Group Hospitality’s Chief Culinary Officer Ralph Scamardella, introduces a stronger emphasis on seafood and Mediterranean flavors. Returning favorites such as the signature Meatball and 20-layer Chocolate Cake are now joined by dishes like Jumbo Shrimp Alla Scampi (S$45++), Seafood Fra Diavolo (S$46++), and Mafaldine Seafood Alfredo (S$45++).
Fresh seafood is a focal point, with highlights including Grilled Branzino (S$52++), served with fennel, parsley, and lemon vinaigrette, and Grilled Octopus (S$34++), paired with potatoes, black olives, and cipollini onions. These coastal additions are complemented by wood-fired pizzas, hearty steaks, and lighter dishes such as Burrata with heirloom tomatoes and eggplant caponata.
Cocktails Inspired by La Dolce Vita
The cocktail program reflects the same Mediterranean flair, offering light spritzes, bold flavor-forward creations, and signature blends that capture the essence of Italian summers. Standouts include the Amalfi Breeze, a tropical mix of coconut liqueur, gin, prosecco, and pineapple saccharum, and From Sicily with Love, a floral cocktail crafted with violet liqueur and honey. Classic Italian staples such as the Bellini and Negroni Sbagliato also feature, alongside alcohol-free options like the refreshing La Dolce Vita mocktail with lychee, pineapple, and dragonfruit.
Dining, Views, and Social Energy
With seating for 370 guests across indoor dining, lounge, terrace, and private dining spaces, LAVO balances intimate dining with large-scale social events. Its brunches remain a highlight of Singapore’s social calendar, ranging from à la carte weekends to the iconic LAVO Party Brunch — a daytime rooftop celebration with live DJs, themed menus, and immersive entertainment. The upcoming Race Weekend Edition on 4 October will return as one of the season’s most anticipated events.
From day to night, LAVO continues to channel the spirit of la dolce vita, combining food, music, and atmosphere in a high-energy setting. With its new coastal Italian direction, refreshed interiors, and enduring rooftop appeal, LAVO reaffirms its place as one of Singapore’s signature dining and nightlife destinations.
