Kopi TUKU marks its 10th anniversary this year, celebrating a decade of growth since opening its first 16-square-meter kiosk in Cipete, South Jakarta. As part of this milestone, the homegrown coffee brand is entering a new phase with the launch of its first international store in Amsterdam, alongside plans to open a new outlet in Bali. The Amsterdam location signals TUKU’s debut on the global stage, while the Bali expansion underscores its continued growth across Indonesia’s prominent destinations.

The Amsterdam outlet, launched in collaboration with Roemah Indonesia BV, will offer more than just coffee—it serves as an opportunity for TUKU to engage with different lifestyles, coffee cultures, and communities. According to Head of Brand Eleonora Ancilla, the store will take a distinct approach compared to those in Indonesia, shaped by the nuances of its local environment.

TUKU’s presence at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival for two consecutive years helped lay the groundwork for this international step, attracting strong interest from the local crowd. For CEO and founder Andanu Prasetyo, the Amsterdam store represents more than expansion—it’s a way to showcase Indonesian stories and flavors on the global stage. Still, wherever it opens, TUKU stays grounded in its core values: simple coffee, warm connections, and a sense of home.

Over the past decade, TUKU’s growth has remained steady and community-driven. The brand now operates 72 stores across Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Malang, and Yogyakarta, supported by more than 1,040 baristas and serving around 78,000 cups of coffee each day. The upcoming Bali opening marks a new domestic chapter, while the Amsterdam store signals TUKU’s broader reach abroad.
