Resorts World Sentosa has introduced a new bar concept that blends storytelling with rare spirits. Located at Crockford’s Tower, Horatio is designed around the fictional character Horatio Fairchild, a traveler imagined to have explored the world’s most iconic distilling regions. His adventures form the basis of the bar’s drinks and atmosphere, offering you a chance to experience different cultures through taste.
The space is divided into three areas. The Retail Emporium is the first stop, where you can browse a collection of rare bottles and exclusive spirits. It’s a quiet, curated room that encourages discovery, whether you’re new to whisky or a seasoned enthusiast. The Main Parlour is where the bar’s signature cocktail menu, Trails & Tales, comes to life. Each drink is inspired by a different part of the world and paired with a short story. For example, Kueh Kueh Spirits blends bourbon with coconut, gula melaka, and salted egg yolk, drawing from Peranakan traditions. Highland Hermit uses scotch, honey, and thyme, and tells of a stormy night in the Scottish Highlands. Pirate Radio mixes aged rum with banana and tamarind, inspired by Caribbean legends. Dragon’s Breath features cognac, light soya sauce, and black dates, reflecting the depth of Chinese spirits.
For those invited behind the scenes, The Enclave offers a more private experience. This hidden room features rare cocktails and spirits. It’s a quiet space meant for reflection and deeper appreciation. Horatio’s collection includes over 300 rare bottles, including a specially bottled Macallan cask from 1988. The bar also serves small plates inspired by Horatio’s imagined travels, such as beetroot croquettes, wagyu skewers, and salmon tacos. Non-alcoholic drinks are available too, for those who prefer not to drink but still want to enjoy the experience.
