As the year-end festive season approaches, hotels across Bali prepare for one of their busiest culinary periods. At The Ritz-Carlton, Bali, located along the coastline of Nusa Dua, the focus this December and early January is placed firmly on dining-led celebrations, spanning Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and the days in between.
The resort’s festive offerings run from early December through the first week of January, centring on its key dining venues—Senses, Bejana, The Beach Grill, and The Ritz-Carlton Lounge & Bar—each presenting menus shaped around seasonal traditions and regional influences.
Christmas Dining Across the Resort
From 1 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, The Ritz-Carlton Lounge & Bar introduces a Festive Afternoon Tea, served daily between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The experience combines classic sweets and savouries with seasonal elements, framed by ocean views and open-air seating.
Christmas Eve on 24 December offers multiple dining formats. At Senses, guests can choose a holiday buffet served in the restaurant’s garden-facing setting, featuring live stations and seasonal dishes. For a more coastal experience, The Beach Grill presents a festive set menu by the shoreline, offering an alternative to the larger buffet format.
On Christmas Day, The Beach Grill continues with a thematic brunch at midday, followed by a set menu dinner in the evening. Meanwhile, Bejana, the resort’s Indonesian restaurant perched on the cliff top, hosts an Indonesian buffet dinner highlighting regional dishes and contemporary interpretations of local cuisine.
New Year’s Eve and New Year Dining
New Year’s Eve celebrations at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali again revolve around food and communal dining. Bejana offers an Indonesian buffet dinner focused on regional flavours, while Senses and The Beach Grill each host their own festive menus, catering to guests seeking either international selections or an oceanfront setting for the final night of the year.
The evening culminates with a New Year’s Eve Countdown at Senses Lawn, where guests gather for the countdown in an open-air setting, accompanied by food and beverage offerings. Dining continues into the first day of the year with New Year menus available across selected venues.
Beyond Dining
While food remains the core of the festive programming, the resort also notes complementary experiences including spa access, children’s activities at Ritz Kids, and wellness facilities at The Ritz-Carlton Spa. These elements are positioned as supporting features alongside the dining calendar rather than the primary focus.
According to Go Kondo, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali, the festive season is approached as a moment of togetherness, with experiences designed to reflect both holiday traditions and Balinese hospitality.
Running through early January, the resort’s festive dining program reflects how Bali’s luxury hotels continue to anchor year-end celebrations around food—balancing international holiday customs with local flavours and open-air coastal settings.
