The Ritz-Carlton, Bali is set to present Epicurean Indonesia, an exclusive two-night dining collaboration between renowned Indonesian culinary ambassador Chef Petty Elliott and the resort’s Director of Culinary, Chef Raymond Siek. Scheduled for Saturday, 23 August and Sunday, 24 August 2025 at the resort’s signature Indonesian restaurant, Bejana, the event will highlight the diversity of Indonesian cuisine through two distinct dining experiences.
The opening evening will feature a Nusantara buffet dinner, offering a curated selection of regional dishes from across the archipelago, from Sumatra to Eastern Indonesia. Presented in an interactive and elegant setting, the dinner will be accompanied by the traditional sounds of rindik and Balinese dance performed by members of the local community.
On the second night, guests will be treated to a refined eight-course set dinner designed by both chefs, showcasing their shared vision for elevating Indonesian cuisine. Each course will blend tradition and innovation, with meticulous attention to flavor, technique, and presentation.
As part of the evening, Chef Petty Elliott will host a book signing session for her latest publication, The Indonesian Table, offering guests the opportunity to take home a signed copy and gain insight into her culinary inspirations.
“We are delighted to welcome Chef Petty Elliott to The Ritz-Carlton, Bali for this exceptional collaboration with our Director of Culinary, Chef Raymond Siek,” said Go Kondo, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali. “This event is a tribute to the richness of Indonesian ingredients and the creativity of modern culinary techniques.
