Bali’s dining and nightlife scene welcomes a new addition with the opening of Crafty’s Gastro Pub in Umalas. Drawing inspiration from the gastro pubs of London, the venue combines hearty comfort food, craft beers, cocktails, and a neighborhood spirit tailored to the island’s lifestyle.
Positioned as the “living room of Umalas,” Crafty’s is designed as more than a dining destination, offering a relaxed but stylish atmosphere where locals and travelers can gather for meals, drinks, and entertainment.
London Soul Meets Bali Lifestyle
Crafty’s reimagines the essence of a British gastro pub for Bali, bringing together elevated versions of classic dishes and globally influenced flavors. Highlights include its Sunday Roast tradition — served with all the trimmings — which aims to become a weekly gathering point for families and friends. The menu extends from pub classics and signature burgers to contemporary comfort dishes crafted with quality ingredients.
As the official home of Breman Brewery, Crafty’s serves a rotating selection of locally brewed craft beers on tap, alongside cocktails and curated wines. Breman Brewery, founded in Bali, is known for its small-batch techniques and bold, modern flavors that contribute to the island’s growing craft beer scene.
Food, Drinks, and Community
Beyond its food and drink offerings, Crafty’s is positioned as a community hub. Live music, DJ sets, and screenings of international sporting events create a lively energy, while the venue’s open design caters equally to casual weeknight gatherings and weekend celebrations.
The gastro pub reflects the vision of hospitality expert Peter Jozef and The Cakap Group, a consultancy known for shaping dining and lifestyle venues across Bali. “Crafty’s is more than just a venue; it’s a destination where tradition meets innovation, and food meets community,” Peter said.
