Chef Julien Perrinet, Executive Pastry Chef Asia Pacific at Park Hyatt Tokyo, will bring his pastry expertise to Andaz Bali, by Hyatt for a two-day afternoon tea collaboration on 22 and 23 October 2026.
Held at Village Square, the communal space at Andaz Bali inspired by a traditional Balinese village, the afternoon tea will feature pastry creations developed by Chef Julien specifically for the collaboration. The menu will highlight fruit flavours from Les Vergers Boiron, a French producer of fruit purées and preparations.
Chef Julien’s approach to pastry focuses on precision, seasonality and the natural character of ingredients. For the two-day experience, he will present a selection of desserts alongside savoury bites, with fruit playing a central role across the menu.
The collaboration with Les Vergers Boiron gives Chef Julien an opportunity to explore different fruit flavours and incorporate them into contemporary pastry creations, bringing his experience from Park Hyatt Tokyo to Bali.
For Maximilien Provis, Hotel Manager of Andaz Bali, collaborations between chefs across the Hyatt group offer an opportunity for guests to experience different culinary perspectives in a local setting.
“We are very pleased to welcome Chef Julien Perrinet to Andaz Bali, by Hyatt. Bringing chefs from across the Hyatt family to Bali allows our guests to discover new ideas, techniques, and tastes in a setting that feels distinctly local. We look forward to seeing how Chef Julien translates his experience at Park Hyatt Tokyo into this special afternoon tea, alongside the quality of Les Vergers Boiron,” said Maximilien Provis, Hotel Manager of Andaz Bali, by Hyatt.
The Afternoon Tea Experience by Chef Julien Perrinet will take place on 22 and 23 October 2026 at Village Square, Andaz Bali, by Hyatt. The experience is priced at IDR 295,000 net per person.
