Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta has introduced its 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival collection, Moonlight Elegance, featuring a series of handcrafted mooncakes presented in newly designed gift hampers that celebrate the traditions of reunion and togetherness.

Designed as both a festive gift and keepsake, this year’s hamper takes inspiration from the silhouette of an elegant handbag. Lotus motifs decorate the exterior, while a pearl detail on the handle references the full moon, a longstanding symbol of harmony and family reunion during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The mooncakes are handcrafted under the direction of Chinese Executive Chef Lai Chong Seng and the hotel’s pastry team, with a selection of traditional and contemporary flavours prepared using premium ingredients.

The collection is available in three hamper options. The Hou Yi Hamper (IDR 1,288,000 net) includes six flavours: White Lotus Egg Yolk, Red Bean Egg Yolk, Pandan, Red Lotus, Matcha Egg Yolk, and Black Sesame Egg Yolk. The Chang’e Hamper (IDR 988,000 net) features four varieties comprising White Lotus Egg Yolk, Red Bean Egg Yolk, Pandan, and Red Lotus. Meanwhile, the Tu Zi Hamper (IDR 688,000 net) offers two classic flavours: White Lotus Egg Yolk and Red Bean Egg Yolk.

Alongside the traditional baked mooncakes, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta is also introducing a Snow Skin Mooncake collection with Vanilla Choco and Durian flavours, available at IDR 150,000 net per piece.

Available throughout the Mid-Autumn Festival season, the Moonlight Elegance collection is intended for family celebrations, festive gatherings, and corporate gifting. Guests who purchase the collection by 31 August 2026 can also enjoy an early bird discount of 20%.
