Osteria GIA has introduced Women of Osteria GIA, a new campaign celebrating the diverse stories, achievements, and everyday moments of women who have become part of the restaurant’s journey since it opened in 2020.
The campaign highlights how the ISMAYA Group’s Italian restaurant has evolved into a gathering place for different occasions, from business lunches and family dinners to birthdays, reunions, and personal milestones. Through Women of Osteria GIA, the restaurant pays tribute to the women who have celebrated those moments around its tables over the years.
To mark the campaign, Osteria GIA collaborates with three Indonesian public figures from different generations and professions: singer and entrepreneur Rossa, CT Corp Chief Experience Officer Putri Tanjung, and actress, writer, and entrepreneur Happy Salma. Each shares a personal perspective on success, purpose, and the values that have shaped their careers.
For Putri Tanjung, success is measured by the impact a person creates rather than recognition alone.
“The most important thing is staying true to your values. Everything begins with good intentions because when your purpose is clear, the impact becomes meaningful. Success isn’t about never feeling insecure—it’s about trusting the process, continuing to learn, and having the courage to move forward despite uncertainty.”
A longtime guest of Osteria GIA, Putri said the restaurant has become part of both her personal and professional life.
“I’m always passionate about supporting women who empower one another, so I’m incredibly happy to be part of this campaign. Osteria GIA has become part of my life—from business meetings to birthday celebrations. It’s a place I genuinely keep coming back to.”
Happy Salma, whose work spans literature, theatre, film, and cultural preservation, believes success begins with understanding one’s own path.
“Perhaps our greatest challenge is ourselves. We often judge ourselves using standards that don’t truly belong to us. Success begins when we understand who we are, what truly makes us happy, and have the courage to pursue it.”
She added that the most meaningful achievements are often defined by the people they inspire.
“Success means something different to every woman. What matters is that we continue supporting one another, celebrating each other’s journeys, and reminding every woman that she never has to walk alone.”
For Rossa, whose career has spanned more than three decades, success is closely tied to creating a lasting legacy.
“One of the proudest moments in my career is knowing that songs I recorded decades ago are still loved by younger generations today. That’s what legacy means to me—creating something that continues to live on beyond yourself.”
She also shared that familiar places often become part of life’s celebrations.
“No matter how successful a woman becomes, she’ll always choose a place where she feels comfortable. Osteria GIA gives me that feeling. I never have to question whether the food will be good because it’s always good. It’s where my friends and I gather to celebrate, reconnect, or simply enjoy time together.”
Through Women of Osteria GIA, the restaurant aims to celebrate the many ways women define success while recognizing the moments, relationships, and shared experiences that continue to shape their stories.
