ORIJIN Japanese Dining at Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection has introduced Japanese Brunch in the City, a new Sunday brunch experience that showcases the restaurant’s signature Japanese specialties alongside live cooking stations and cultural traditions. The programme also celebrates ORIJIN’s culinary heritage, which dates back to 1976.

Available every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the brunch features a variety of Japanese dishes prepared à la minute across Robatayaki and Teppanyaki stations, allowing guests to watch chefs prepare their meals throughout the service.

Among the highlights are ORIJIN’s signature Robatayaki Gindara, premium beef, chicken and seafood grilled at the Teppanyaki station, as well as an assortment of fresh sashimi, handcrafted sushi rolls, and Chicken Teriyaki. To further enhance the experience, fresh wasabi is grated tableside before being served with selected dishes.

Beyond the food, the brunch incorporates elements of Japanese culture through live acoustic music, the traditional Kagami Biraki sake barrel-opening ceremony, and a sake pass-around that takes place during the service.

“We wanted to create a Sunday brunch that reflects ORIJIN’s long-standing commitment to authentic Japanese cuisine while offering an interactive dining experience for guests,” the restaurant said in a statement.

Japanese Brunch in the City is priced at IDR 490,000++ per person, with a Pay 3 Get 4 promotion available. Guests can also add unlimited sake and shochu for two hours for an additional IDR 300,000++.

Established in 1976, ORIJIN Japanese Dining has been part of Jakarta’s dining scene for nearly five decades. The new brunch programme builds on that legacy by combining classic Japanese dishes with live cooking and traditional hospitality in a contemporary Sunday dining format.
