House of Great Treasure (HOGT), multi brand italian kitchen and home appliance house unveils La Cucina Attiva (Italian for “The Active Kitchen”) as a defining chapter for the brand.
Taking up to 5000 sq ft of space, HOGT reimagines what a luxury kitchen destination can be, evolving into a chef-curated culinary house. The head of this transformation is chef Leonard Cheung founder of fine dining restaurant “Cultivate” acting as HOGT’s first ever culinary director.
The headline act, the ambassadors of HOGT, Leading the La Cucina Attiva calendar is Ambassadors of HOGT — an invitation-only series that will bring together a hand picked collection of the city’s most decorated chefs. under one roof at HOGT throughout 2026. Chefs from the city making up a portfolio of Michelin stars, global accolades, and internationally recognised fine-dining restaurants — spanning Italian, Nordic, French, and contemporary cuisines.
Identities of the six Ambassadors will be revealed progressively in the coming weeks — each reveal marking a new chapter of the 2026 Ambassadors of HOGT calendar.
Each of the chosen ambassadors will take the HOGT’s dedicated kitchen stages for open-format demonstrations, intimate culinary dialogues, and hands-on sessions offering guests a look at their craft.
“These are chefs you would normally only experience from the other side of a dining counter — often months in advance, and only by reservation,” said Chef Leonard Cheung. “Here, the counter disappears. The kitchen becomes the stage, and the conversation is entirely open. It is a rare privilege, even for me, to see these talents gathered in one place.”
La Cucina Attiva-The Year Programme
The year long programme, is structured around three parts that each adhere different audiences between the city’s culinary, design, and lifestyle communities:
Ambassadors of HOGT — The Guest Chef Series
A selected series of michelin and award winning chefs, master chefs, home cooks, and design enthusiast gather to explore appliance, craft, and cuisine. The full line-up, session dates, themes, and formats will be unveiled progressively throughout 2026.
Laboratorio di Cucina — The Culinary Laboratory
A series of cooking workshops led by Chef Leonard, exploring the science of cooking through HOGT’s appliances. The first session, Handmade Italian Pasta, launches on 14 May 2026. guiding participants from the protein structure of flour and the mechanics of kneading, to how different heat profiles shape the texture of a sauce
Italian Circle — The Cultural Collective
A curated calendar of collaborations, connecting Hong Kong with its local Italian community. The first collaboration will see HOGT partner with natural wine specialist Cheese Meets Wine on Cantine d’Italia
