Shangri-La Jakarta is marking the Year of the Fire Horse with a series of Lunar New Year dining programmes running from 26 January to 5 March 2026, centring on Chinese set menus, festive à la carte dishes, and family-style buffet dining across its signature restaurants. The seasonal offerings place emphasis on traditional flavours, symbolic dishes, and shared meals tied to Lunar New Year customs.

At JIA, the Lunar New Year celebrations are presented through a selection of curated set menus and classic festive dishes prepared with premium ingredients. Guests can choose from three set menus—Wan Shi Ru Yi, Gong Xi Fa Cai, and Xin Nian Kuai Le—alongside signature items such as suckling pig, roasted duck or Peking duck, and Eight Treasure Pot pun choi, a traditional communal dish associated with abundance.

The Lunar New Year menu at JIA also features Yu Sheng, served as part of the Lo Hei tradition. Options include salmon Yu Sheng in various portion sizes as well as a premium lobster Yu Sheng. Traditional Nian Gao selections are also available, including Yuan Bao Nian Gao and Bird’s Nest Nian Gao, rounding out the festive offerings commonly shared during the season.

Meanwhile, SATOO will host a Lunar New Year Lamian Buffet, offering freshly prepared hand-pulled noodles alongside a range of complementary dishes. The Lamian Buffet Dinner will be served on 16 February 2026, followed by a Lamian Buffet Lunch on 17 February 2026, positioning SATOO as a venue for larger family gatherings and group celebrations during the holiday period.
