Ikan Bar at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali will welcome Cat Bite Club, a well-regarded name in Asia’s bar scene, for an exclusive one-night takeover on 26 December 2025. The event serves as part of the resort’s Whimsical Harmony festive programming, presenting a post-Christmas evening by the beach led by guest mixologist Jesse Jay, Co-Founder of Cat Bite Club Singapore.
Cat Bite Club has gained recognition for its creative approach to agave spirits and Asian heritage liquors such as soju and shochu. Founded in 2023 in Singapore’s Duxton neighbourhood, the bar has since earned various accolades, including Tatler Bar of The Year Singapore 2025, #56 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, #77 The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024, and the Campari One to Watch Award 2024.
Featuring Guest Mixologist Jesse Jay
Jesse Jay brings more than 15 years of experience across San Francisco, New York, and Singapore. Prior to establishing Cat Bite Club, he led the programme at ATLAS, where the bar achieved global recognition including placement on The World’s 50 Best Bars list and the World’s Best Cocktail Menu title from Tales of the Cocktail.
Dane Fernandes, Director of Food & Beverage at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, said the collaboration reflects the resort’s intention to connect guests with diverse creative expressions through memorable beachfront experiences. “Partnering with Cat Bite Club allows us to introduce a fresh, world-class perspective at Ikan Bar,” he shared.
Cocktails for the Takeover
Guests can expect a selection of Cat Bite Club signature cocktails, including:
St. Nicks Agave Spritz – Tequila, vermouth, citrus cordial, pineapple, prosecco, grapefruit bitters
Island Viper – Reposado tequila, Disaronno, cinnamon maple syrup, lemon, Worcestershire, Peychaud’s bitters
Whisky Ginger Ricky – Irish whisky, black stout, absinthe, honey syrup, ginger cordial, citrus, Angostura bitters
Santa’s Old Fashioned – Irish whisky, Disaronno, Campari, vermouth, cold brew, saline, orange bitters
Venue
The takeover will take place at Ikan Bar, the open-air beachfront bar adjacent to Ikan Restaurant at The Westin Nusa Dua. Known for its relaxed coastal ambience and sunset setting, the venue offers a fitting backdrop for the mixology-led evening.
