One year after shaking up Jakarta’s burger scene, MOGUL celebrates its milestone anniversary with a community-focused Block Party at its flagship outlet in SCBD Park. The event features live music, creative showcases, and the launch of the brand’s newest comfort food item, Chicken Tenders, served with four signature sauces: Honey Mustard, Black Pepper, Bangkok Chili, and Truffle Parmesan.
Guests can enjoy a special performance by DJ Otomidus, live t-shirt printing sessions by Screenprint, and an evening that blends culinary creativity with neighborhood energy. “We believe that comfort food can also be a serious dish, crafted with heart,” said Joeana Simon, Co-Founder of MOGUL and the mind behind product development. “Every bite should feel personal, warm, juicy, and full of love — just like home-cooked food, but with the precision of a chef.”
Founded by Joeana Simon and Chris Angkasa, MOGUL traces its roots back to Medan, where it began as M Burger. The brand’s name — an acronym for Monstrous Gulp! — captures its philosophy that a true burger should be devoured with enthusiasm. Built on a blend of family recipes and modern craftsmanship, MOGUL emphasizes quality and transparency, offering housemade sauces, artisan buns, and no MSG in any of its dishes.
Among its most popular creations are the Double Smash (two beef patties with cheese), the Triple Smash (a three-patty indulgence), the Classic Cheese Burger, and the Mogul Junior, a kid-friendly option with caramelized onions and pickles.
