For the first time, Chinese cuisine has been given its own dedicated ranking in Asia. The Chinese Restaurant Awards has announced the Top 30 honourees for its inaugural Elite 15 Asia Awards, a new recognition designed to highlight the diversity and excellence of Chinese dining across the continent.

The longlist of 30 restaurants, spanning cities from Hong Kong and Shanghai to Singapore and Bangkok, will be narrowed down to a ranked Elite 15 Asia list, set to be revealed during the 16th Annual Chinese Restaurant Awards Ceremony at The Vancouver Club in Canada on 29 October 2025. The event will also celebrate Canadian winners in categories such as Elite 30 Canada, Rising Star Chef of the Year, Dim Sum Chef of the Year, and Master Chef of the Year.

The Top 30 Honourees

  • Jade Dragon (Macau) – Michelin-starred fine Cantonese dining

  • Fu He Hui (Shanghai) – Pioneering refined vegetarian Chinese cuisine

  • Da Dong Roast Marinated Duck (JinBao) (Beijing) – Renowned for its signature Peking duck

  • Sazenka (Tokyo) – Bridging Chinese and Japanese fine dining

  • Silks House (Taipei), Peach Blossoms (Singapore), and Purple Laurel (Bangkok) – Showcasing the global influence of Chinese cuisine

Other entries span Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and New Delhi, reflecting both tradition and innovation in Chinese dining.

The final Elite 15 Asia will be announced in Vancouver, bringing together Asian honourees with Canada’s finest chefs and restaurants in a celebration of culinary talent that underscores the global reach and cultural importance of Chinese cuisine.
