Indian food fans rejoice! This February, The Westin Jakarta will be having a pop-up Indian restaurant that is worth trying. Named Gharana, the chic temporary restaurant presents a various selection of authentic Northern Indian flavors to the table.

“We do our best to bring the best and the most authentic Nothern Indian cuisine to Jakarta with Gharana,” said Samit Ganguly, the General Manager of The Westin Jakarta during the soft opening of the pop-up restaurant on February 10th, 2022.

All of the dishes offered at Gharana are expertly curated by the talented Indian culinary team under the helm of Indian Specialty Chef Pankaj Sharma. Born in New Delhi, India, Chef Pankaj latched onto his ultimate dream to deliver authentic Northern Indian cuisine through his delicate creations.

For Gharana, Pankaj will showcase distinctive flavors of Nothern Indian cuisine. His well-made creations for Gharana such as the soft and delightful lamb Galouti kebab; the refreshing Gharana fish curry; Nalli Nihari, fall off the bone lamb meat with bone marrow stew; and pancake-like dessert Patisapta.

Diners can find Gharana on the 51st level of the hotel at the Seasonal Tastes’ Al Fresco room. Gharana is open every day for dinner only.
