This ‘Epicurean Journey’ first chapter is the very beginning of a wondrous journey of culinary discovery.
Collaborating with some of the brightest stars in the gastronomic horizon, the quarterly journey will present duets with world-renowned chefs, mixologists and master sommeliers.
The Epicurean Journey Chapter One will be held on 22, and 23 April 2022, featuring the first-ever collaboration with Chef Maxime Gilbert from the famed Two Michelin Starred ÉCRITURE in Hong Kong. His vision of French cuisine comes to life at ÉCRITURE, where traditional techniques are integrated with exceptional ingredients from France and Japan to envisage simplicity, elegance, and a natural sophistication that plays with power and lightness. Chef Maxime’s prowess will be beautifully fused with Rumari’s Chef Gaetan’s passion for exploration and discovery as he leads Rumari to be one of the finest restaurants on the Island, which has recently been appointed as the newest Krug Ambassade, the first-ever in Indonesia and one amongst the selected few exclusive venues in the world.
