Staying true to Locavore philosophy, Club Soda will serve selections of multi-hyphenated creative refreshments that celebrate local Indonesian ingredients’ sole use. Fresh produce is crafted into innovative cocktails you’ve never tasted, non-alcoholic concoctions, and some Asian & Japanese-inspired small plates.
Fresh produce is crafted into Club Soda packaged cans with their take on fruity spiked seltzers and tonics, fermented cocktails starring nutmeg fruit, banana, and rice. Classics with a twist, such as Nee-groni using their own-made Campari and zero-chemical natural wines made the OG way.
Designed to pair perfectly with their drinks – and bring you to peak fulfillment – their edible creations are an assortment of light dishes crafted by the team Locavore. The menu is split into Chill, Fire, and Kushiyaki & Yakitori dishes, with many of their favorites being meat-free. Their highlights include Steamed manila clams with super ramen stock and miso butter, Cold noodles with spicy kimchi paste, cucumber, and sesame seeds. There also will be Chicken katsu sando with tonkatsu sauce and iceberg lettuce and Grilled watermelon skewers with miso leaves and watermelon caramel.
Club Soda is a new bar concept by chefs Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Adriansyah of the Locavore Group. Their signature restaurant in Ubud – Locavore – serves ever-changing tasting menus of modern cuisine driven by a commitment to using local produce in all its flavors. They have also produced Indonesian restaurant Nusantara, casual concept Locavore To Go, butcher’s shop Local Parts, and cocktail bar Night Rooster. Club Soda will be their first venture in Canggu.
Raka Ambarawan is the head barman and designer of all the creative beverages at Club Soda. Hailing from Locavore’s own award-winning Night Rooster bar, his pursuit of new ideas using local ingredients and a ‘let’s make it attitude helps set Club Soda into a world all of its own.
