InterContinental Bali Resort has appointed Indrajit Saha as its new Executive Chef, marking a leadership change within the resort’s culinary team at the start of 2026. Based in Jimbaran, the resort brings in Saha following his most recent role as Executive Chef at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa.
Chef Saha brings more than two decades of international experience across hotel kitchens in India, the Maldives, St. Lucia, Djibouti, Thailand, Vietnam, Seychelles, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in opening new dining concepts, restructuring food-and-beverage operations, and leading multicultural culinary teams across resort and city-hotel environments.
His cooking philosophy places emphasis on sustainability, wellness, and a farm-to-fork approach, with menus designed to balance indulgence and nourishment. This perspective is also reflected in his personal lifestyle, which prioritises clean eating and wellness-focused habits, elements he integrates into his approach to menu development and kitchen leadership.
A native of Kolkata, India, Saha is known within the industry for combining technical consistency with an interest in regional ingredients and local food cultures. At InterContinental Bali Resort, his role will involve overseeing the resort’s dining operations while aligning its culinary direction with broader sustainability and wellness priorities.
With the appointment, InterContinental Bali Resort signals a continued focus on refining its dining experiences through leadership with broad international exposure, positioning the culinary programme to evolve while remaining rooted in local context.
