FLOR launching their new 24/Chiffon series, a collection designed to redefine chiffon cakes with a focus on comfort and sophistication. The 24/Chiffon series aims to position chiffon cakes as a suitable treat for both everyday consumption and special occasions, characterized by its signature melt-in-your-mouth texture and meticulously crafted flavor combinations. The initial launch of the 24/Chiffon series features four distinct flavors: Keju Jadul, Brown Butter Banana, Espresso Caramel Chocolate, and Honey Cake. Each flavor profile has been developed to evoke specific sensory experiences, ranging from nostalgic comfort to bold sophistication. The core concept behind 24/Chiffon centers on providing a thoughtful and high-quality indulgence that can be seamlessly integrated into daily routines.

“Chiffon cake is simple in appearance, but it takes great care to perfect. It’s all about balance—the softness, the lift, the creaminess. With 24/Chiffon, we wanted to capture that understated magic and explore how different flavor combinations could bring out different moods. Each flavor tells its own story. Some, like Keju Jadul, connect us to something familiar and nostalgic. Others, like Espresso Caramel Chocolate, give you that bold punch in the middle of the day. There’s a cake for every kind of moment,” explains Kevin Krisna Pratama, Head Pastry Chef at FLOR.

The four flavors of 24/Chiffon collection

  • Keju Jadul: A contemporary interpretation of a nostalgic favorite, featuring layers of cheddar, Edam, parmesan, and cream cheese to create a balanced savory-sweet profile.
  • Brown Butter Banana: A moist banana cake incorporating French brown butter and layered with caramelized banana cream.
  • Espresso Caramel Chocolate: An espresso-infused Valrhona chocolate sponge cake with caramel cream and a dark chocolate ganache.
  • Honey Cake: A light sponge cake made with locally sourced Caliandra honey, finished with a delicate honey cream.

Through the introduction of the 24/Chiffon series, FLOR seeks to strengthen its position within Jakarta’s premium cake market and expand its reach to consumers seeking high-quality desserts suitable for both celebratory events and everyday enjoyment. The 24/Chiffon collection is currently available through FLOR’s official store and online platforms, in whole cake format, catering to gifting and larger gatherings. Beginning April 18, 2025, individual slices will also be available for purchase, providing customers with greater accessibility to the collection’s diverse flavors.
