Café Kissa has announced the launch of its new Signature Bowl Series, expanding its renowned culinary offerings with two new additions: the Ultimate Wagyu Bowl and the Buta Bowl. These new dishes continue the restaurant’s tradition of blending traditional Japanese flavors with modern culinary techniques.
The Ultimate Wagyu Bowl features Sher Wagyu MB6+ Premium beef, known for its perfect marbling and tender texture. This dish includes savory misoyaki fried rice, rich truffle demi-glace sauce, and a soft soy-marinated egg yolk. It is garnished with crispy seaweed, marinated ikura, and a touch of yuzu kosho aioli, enhancing its flavor and texture.

The Buta Bowl offers a satisfying combination of perfectly roasted pork belly with a crispy exterior and tender interior. It includes soy-braised pork for deep umami flavors, yuzu daikon pickles for a refreshing citrus note, homemade dried chili for a spicy kick, and marinated salmon roe for a burst of sweet and salty flavor.
The Ocean Bowl, a long-time favorite at Café Kissa, features savory misoyaki rice topped with premium seafood such as smoky unagi kabayaki, tender toro, and sweet scallop. Additional toppings of black tobiko, fresh edamame, and scallions add complex layers of flavor and texture.
