Buona Terra celebrates another year as a Krug Ambassade with the Krug Experience Menu crafted by Resident Chef Denis Lucchi. This 5-course menu features nine innovative contemporary Italian dishes, which include an opening snack, an amuse-bouche, crisps and bread, and a petit four. Each dish is inspired by an ingredient from Krug’s Single Ingredient Programme over the past decade, and the meal is served alongside a fine glass of Krug Grande Cuvée.
A Culinary Celebration With Krug
This year’s featured ingredient is flowers, and Buona Terra promises a gastronomic experience with a selection of unique dishes. The “Flower Garden” dish includes sweet Mozambique scampi, which balances sweetness, acidity, and aromatic. The “Tagliatelle, Onion” dish showcases onions prepared in three different ways—onion stock, powder, and purée—finished with Parmesan cheese and a touch of sour white wine vinegar butter for comforting flavors.
For the main course, the “Quail, Morel Mushrooms, Sage” dish is accompanied by black garlic and potato purées, creating a balanced medley of earthy and savory flavors. Finally, desserts feature “Chocolate Mousse” served with milk ice cream and pepper chips, incorporating peppers from last year’s ingredients. Buona Terra’s 2024 Krug Experience Menu celebrates flavors and good times. It pairs the taste of Krug Champagne with Chef Denis Lucchi’s light and delicious dishes, making for a special experience.
