Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And Andaz Bali knows this thing well. Recently, the new five-star hotel in Bali has just released a new menu for its notable Village Market Breakfast. Located at the cojoined Wok Wok Restaurant and Blue Oven, the Village Market Breakfast, which is not only available for in-house guests, is adopting an all-you-can-eat concept sans the grandeur buffet display. It means, guests are encouraged to order anything on the menu from the table and chefs will prepare the dishes accordingly.
At Village Market Breakfast, guests can sit in the indoor area or opt for the outdoor seating should they want to enjoy the lush garden and Village Square as they nibble away. For the new menu, Andaz Bali added several items for guests to choose from, such as coconut chia bowl, souffle pancake, gimbap, onsen egg, kimchi jjigae, nasi gurih, and more. The new additions are somewhat irresistible as it invites guests to try more than just one item.
We started our breakfast at Village Market with a bakery basket filled with selections of fresh pastries and then continued with a coconut chia bowl. The chia bowl is delicious with notes of fragrant coconut milk. For the main courses, I opted for kimchi jjigae, the famous soto Madura, and nasi gurih, each of which was really on point and tasteful. If you think that may sound too much for breakfast, fortunately, the Village Market Breakfast serves all of its food in a cute portion so guests can try many dishes in a go.
The a la carte menu is indeed extensive and guests are welcome to order each dish in more than one portion. Interestingly, breakfast guests are also welcome to explore the array of pastries, fresh juices, cold cuts, jamu, and other offerings on display at Deli & Bakery or Blue Oven.
Breakfast at Village Market in Andaz Sanur is not just an ordinary, typical hotel breakfast. Each dish is carefully curated by its culinary team and presented to guests in beautiful presentations. Village Market Breakfast is available from 6.30 am up until 11.00 am. Outside guests are welcome to enjoy the scrumptious breakfast with the price IDR290,000++ per person.
