The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is continuing its culinary series, Travelogues of the Archipelago, with Chapter 3 focusing on the flavors and traditions of Sulawesi. From 15 to 17 August 2025, you are invited to Ikan Restaurant to enjoy a special dining experience that highlights the rich food culture of this eastern Indonesian island.

Chef Raviel Sidik, who leads the kitchen at Ikan Restaurant, is teaming up with Chef Glenn Erari, Executive Chef of Semaja, to create a menu inspired by Sulawesi’s diverse culinary heritage. The dishes include traditional recipes passed down through generations, as well as modern takes on popular street foods from the region. One of the highlights is a tasting of Arak Cap Tikus, a well-known artisanal spirit from Manado that reflects the island’s local craftsmanship.

The event will take place each evening from 5:30 PM at the resort’s beachfront venue, offering a relaxed setting by the Indian Ocean. You can enjoy the sea breeze while sampling dishes that reflect the identity and culture of Sulawesi. Travelogues of the Archipelago is designed to showcase the many flavors of Indonesia, and this Sulawesi chapter brings together chefs, stories, and ingredients that represent the island’s unique place in the country’s culinary landscape.
