This Mid-Autumn Festival, Carlton Hotel Singapore introduces a fresh line-up of handcrafted mooncakes that highlight both tradition and creativity. The 2025 collection includes much-loved baked favourites from Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant, along with new snow skin flavours made by the hotel’s in-house pastry chefs. Pre-orders open online from 21 July to 29 September 2025. From 4 August to 6 October, mooncakes can also be picked up or purchased at the Carlton Hotel’s festive lobby booth, with both delivery and self-collection options available.
Two new snow skin mooncakes make their debut this year. The Mini Da Hong Pao Milk Tea Snow Skin combines the deep, floral aroma of Da Hong Pao tea with the smooth, creamy taste of milk tea. It’s a soft, chilled mooncake with a blend of East and West in flavour. The second new creation, Mini Strawberry Passionfruit Snow Skin, is filled with a fruity mix of strawberry and passionfruit, with a hint of citrus and licorice for a bright and refreshing bite.
Returning this year is a favourite among durian fans—the Mini Mao Shan Wang Snow Skin Mooncake. It’s packed with rich, pure durian flesh and wrapped in soft, mochi-like snow skin. Bold and creamy, it remains one of the most popular choices in the hotel’s annual line-up. Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant’s signature baked mooncakes continue to be at the heart of the collection. The White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk pairs smooth lotus seed paste with the savoury taste of salted egg yolks, offering a balance of richness and tradition. The Traditional Mixed Nuts variety is made with a blend of ingredients like winter melon, candied tangerine peel, and various nuts and seeds—all roasted to deepen the flavour and give it a nutty crunch.
Another highlight is the Mini Walnut Moon Tart with Yolk. It has a golden tart crust filled with fragrant lotus paste, salted egg yolk, and pieces of walnut for extra texture. A lower sugar and yolk-free option is also available, made for those who prefer a lighter version. Each mooncake is packaged in boxes designed with care. This year’s packaging features a red colour and raised floral patterns inspired by the Singapore orchid. Created with SG60 in mind, it’s both festive and meaningful. True to the hotel’s focus on sustainability, the box can be reused after the season as a tissue holder—blending design, function, and environmental awareness.
