Grey Goose has introduced Altius, a unique expression inspired by the grandeur of the French Alps. This distinctive spirit, created by the prestigious French vodka house, is produced using an innovative filtration system that operates at minus 24 degrees Celsius. This process effectively captures the natural essence of the majestic mountains.

“As the quintessential French vodka, it was an obvious choice for Grey Goose to draw inspiration for our next great innovation from one of the most admired earthly wonders in the country,” said Grey Goose Cellar Master, Francois Thibault. “For Altius, we worked to develop a liquid with processes reminiscent of the rare phenomena that naturally occur at the high-altitude temperatures in the Alps to bottle the glacial smoothness that the mountains are admired for, capturing this alongside the soft minerality of the alpine water.”

Grey Goose Altius is made to mimic the smooth effects of high-altitude crystallization that happens in very cold environments. This limited-edition vodka uses French winter wheat and is mixed with spring water from the French Alps for the first time. The water starts high in the mountains, filtering through rocks to become pure and alkaline. After blending, Grey Goose Altius goes through a special filtration process at -24 degrees Celsius, which makes it very smooth and gives it a silky feel. When you taste Altius, you’ll notice a complex flavor with light alpine minerality, hints of green apple, and a unique earthy note. The bottle features a design that represents the mountain peaks, highlighting both fine craftsmanship and the power of nature.

Each batch of Grey Goose Altius is meticulously reviewed by Cellar Master Thibault and, as a mark of its unique character, is hand-bottled in a limited run, with each bottle individually numbered. This ensures that every sip is a truly unique masterpiece. Grey Goose Altius is designed to be savored in a sophisticated manner, whether enjoyed neat, deeply chilled, or over ice.
