Longtime, the brainchild of hospitality maestros Jordie Strybos and Pablo Fourcard, founders of the Milk and Madu Group alongside industry veteran Randa Assi, whose career spans continents from Melbourne’s Lucas Group to international openings for Gordon Ramsay, promises a unique blend of contemporary Asian cuisine within the stunning setting of Berawa.

Overlooking Batu Bolong beach in Canggu Bali, YUKI is where traditional Japanese cuisine meets Balinese flair. Led by Chef Yudha Permana, YUKI is all about celebrating culture and creativity, with ingredients sourced straight from local fishermen and a menu that’s as inventive as it is irresistible. Previous Guest Chef events include Adam Liston from Shobosho in Adelaide and Tom Jack from Honto in Brisbane.

Chef Tyler Preston, renowned for his culinary journey from South-East Canteen pop-ups to iconic venues like Chin Chin and Bang Bang Byron Bay, is at the helm of crafting Longtime’s menu. He looks forward to this exclusive collaboration with YUKI, sharing a teaser of what awaits at Longtime – an amalgamation of innovative cuisine and a fresh, fun vibe.

“Since moving to Bali, I’ve been overwhelmed by the quality of venues, and YUKI is definitely a favorite of mine. The produce is fresh, local, and sustainable, and I look forward to joining Chef Yudha in the kitchen for this one-off event while sharing a teaser for what we have planned at Longtime” says Chef Tyler Preston.

Yudha and Tyler are working on the flame-grilled izakaya menu as we speak. Expect dishes such as sticky pork belly with tamarind and turmeric caramel, Bali black pig char siu pork skewers, coconut-poached prawn betel leaf, organic charcoal lemongrass chicken, and local caught sashimi.
